IMB-186 ultra-slim Mini-ITX motherboard supports 4th generation Haswell Core i7 processor - 18/09/2014
The ASRock IMB-186 is the latest addition to the BVM Group’s extensive family of Mini-ITX motherboards. The board is available with the latest iterations of the Intel Core CPUs, the 4th generation Haswell ULT (Ultra low TDP) BGA CPUs i5 4300U and i7 4650U quad core processors and the Celeron 2980U dual core device. The key advantages of the new board are that its low power consumption and low height (20mm) enables fanless operation when it is installed in slimline PanelPCs, digital signage and other applications where space is at a premium.
The IMB-186 is a fully-featured industrial grade unit. Two DIMM sockets can be populated with up to 16GB of 1600MHz SDRAM. The integrated Intel HD graphics has a shared VGA/HDMI output; in HDMI 1.4a mode resolutions up to 4096 x 2304 are supported; multi-display capability enables up to three screens. 24-bit dual channel LVDS is also available. Two SATA3 6.0Gb/s interfaces are provided for mass storage, there is also a shared Mini-PCIe full size mSATA slot for external storage interface. A further half size Mini-PCIe slot is also onboard. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports, four USB3.0 and six USB2.0 ports, six serial ports and an 8-bit GPIO interface are also available. A TPM (Trusted Platform Module) header is provided. Power is from an external 9 – 19VDC source.
