The WF62ATXGRDNN0 is a graphic 6.2" TFT LCD 640 x 320 monochrome display. The external dimensions of the display are 170.32 x 88.3 x 5.3 mm, and the active area is 140 x 70 mm. What is important, it is a monochrome model, but applied in the active matrix TFT, which allows for high contrast (800:1) and short response times.
The WF62ATXGRDNN0 is with normally black VA LCD type which is feature with wider view angle. It is a special technology, not like common color TFT, monochrome TFT has a very good contrast radio. TFT LCD monochrome display is an ideal high performance display for automotive and industrial applications where there may be fewer requirements for full color. Driving the display is less complex yet monochrome TFT still offers the same performance characteristics as full color TFT.
This display does not need an extended controller board to drive MCU control. The display can operate in mode 2, 4 or 16 shades of gray scale, depending on the settings. Because the display driver supports several communication modes: 3 - or 4-line serial interface and an 8-bit parallel interface compatible with standard systems with 8080 or 6800 family, the desired mode is selected by user to choose appropriate interface to control the device system. It is also worth mentioning the possibility of introducing the device in sleep mode, which does not clear the memory contents of the display.
