ASRock Industrial unveils its new 4X4 BOX-5000 Series
– configured with AMD Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 APUs for energised performance

ASRock Industrial announces its new 4X4 BOX-5000 Series, powered by AMD’s Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 U-Series APU’s with up to 8 cores / 16 threads to ‘energise’ performance, efficiency and lower latencies.

Overview

Featuring a powerful yet compact design, the 4X4 BOX-5000 Series supports quad independent display output (up to 4K resolution) with AMD Radeon Graphics to provide for an enhanced visual experience. The series also includes dual LAN ports and Wi-Fi 6E support for 6GHz bandwidth for ‘real-time’ connection.

The 4X4 BOX-5000 Series provides 1 x M.2 Key M and 1 SATA 3.0 for storage purposes – and where on-board I/O is concerned, 5 x USB ports (3 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 x two USB 2.0) to maximise external connectivity.

Footprint, Storage, Memory and Security

The Series comes in the ultra-compact size of 110 x 117.5 x 47.85mm, supporting 1 x M.2 Key M, 2242/2260/2280, and SATA 3.0 for NVMe SSD, or HDD, to provide flexibility around storage media of choice. The Series supports dual-channel DDR4 3200MHz SO-DIMM memory up to 64GB capacity for multi-tasking computing capability.

There’s also TPM 2.0 onboard for enhanced hardware security in support of Windows 11 and VESA mounting for efficiency of footprint space.

AMD Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 APU’s energise performance to a new ‘green’ level……..

Equipped with AMD Ryzen 5000U Series Processors (Zen 3 core architecture), the 4X4 BOX-5000 Mini PC series provides both performance and reduced latency, with up to 17% single-thread and multi-thread improved performance (in comparison to Zen 2 configured hardware) and enhanced visual capabilities via AMD Radeon Graphics.

The 4X4 BOX-5000 Series comprises of four models :-

The new series not only provides powerful computing capability, but also low power consumption -running at just 6.7W at idle.

4K Quad Display Support, Dual LAN with up to 2.5GbE and Wi-Fi 6E Support (6GHz Bandwidth)

Other key features of the 4X4 BOX-5000 Series include support for up to 4 x independent display outputs, via 1 x  HDMI 2.0a and 3 x DisplayPort 1.2a (with two from USB 3.2 Gen 2 (Type C)) to support display resolutions of up to 4096 × 2160@60Hz for a ‘refreshing’ visual experience.

Network connectivity is provided via  1 x 2.5 Gigabit LAN and 1 x 1 Gigabit LAN with Realtek ‘Dash’ (Out of Band and Remote Management) functionality – and wireless connectivity is via an M.2 Key E port for Wi-Fi 6E support of 6GHz bandwidth. Bluetooth 5.2 speeds up data transmission and lower latencies – enabling real-time connectivity and remote management functionality.
