DFI ES220-CS: A Small PC with Intel Desktop Performance!

COMPACT PACKAGED PC WITH POWERFUL VIDEO PROCESSING

The ES220-CS is a high-performance computer that runs with low level noise designed to improve computing performance whilst maintaining a compact dimensioning with its overall footprint at just 17.5 x 4.8 x 12cms. It’s equipped with 8th/9th generation Intel Core processor solutions (4 core i3 through to 8 core Xeon) with capable hardware graphics performance handling H.264 and H.265 codec formats. Memory is supported via dual channel DDR4, 2666 MHz slots to provide up to 64GB capacity (optional support for ECC to improve reliability) to avoid insufficient memory around the needs for UHD video processing and output.

ULTRA-CLARITY VIA DUAL HDMI 2.0

Dual HDMI 2.0 ports provides a wide breadth of support for HD displays with resolution up to 4K@60Hz – particularly applicable for applications such as real-time inspection, surveillance, facial recognition and many other applications where level of detail matters . Aside from the high resolution, the refresh rate of 60Hz also provides for smooth handling of video to prevent the all too common phenomena of delays from insufficient video bandwidth – providing tangible solutions for scenarios such as real time production line monitoring to enhance quality output.

GENEROUS STORAGE CAPACITY IN A SMALL ENCLOSURE

The handling of HD content demand large capacity format storage devices with the ability to transfer data at speed. The ES220-CS supports 1 x M.2 2280 M Key (PCIe x4 / SATA 3.0) SSD for utilsation of the operating system and two (optional) 2.5-inch SATA SSDs to provide additional storage space. A variety of RAID (0/1) are provided to meet the required level of redundancy and performance – and improve the overall storage performance and data retention reliability.

NON DISTURBANCE; A QUIET SMART FAN

For efficient utilisation of energy, the ES220-CS provides a thermal design where power is limited to 35W whilst still maintaining high level performance but with reduced cooling. The silent ‘Smart Fan’ adjusts the rotation speed in direct correlation to system workload. At full load, the noise output of the ES220-CS is less than 36dB providing perfect suitability for applications such as video conferencing rooms, lecture halls and indoor theatres.
