Description
The NRU-160-AWP series from Neousys is a rugged, IP66-rated waterproof edge AI computer powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX or Orin Nano, making it ideal for applications such as smart city roadside installations, AI inspection in food production, outdoor robot perception systems, and ADAS for off-highway vehicles. By combining waterproof durability with a streamlined mechanical design and standardized cable kit, the NRU-160-AWP offers robust performance at an affordable cost.
With up to 100 sparse TOPS (INT8) AI inference and support for transcoding up to eighteen 1080P video streams simultaneously, the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX enables the NRU-160-AWP to meet diverse vision-based AI needs. The NRU-161V-AWP supports up to 6x GMSL2 automotive cameras with pre-built drivers for IMX390, ISX031, and IMX490 CMOS sensors, while the NRU-162S-AWP provides 4x PoE+ GbE ports for IP or industrial GigE cameras. Both models include an additional waterproof GbE port for data transmission with other systems or LiDAR.
Compact and versatile, the NRU-160-AWP is engineered for edge deployments in confined spaces, including in-cabinet, in-vehicle, or on robots. Its compact 225 x 136 x 55 mm design is paired with an 8V to 35V wide DC input range, ignition power control, 1x CAN FD bus port, 1x RS232 port, one miniPCIe socket for CAN/COM/WiFi modules, and one M.2 B-key socket for 4G LTE/5G NR modules.
With its waterproof IP66 build, advanced AI performance, and extensive camera connectivity, the NRU-160-AWP strikes a balance between ruggedness, efficiency, and cost. It is a ready-to-deploy solution for applications in smart agriculture, mining, construction, roadside AI systems, edge inspection, and outdoor autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).
