Description
Wincomm’s latest medical Panel PCs, the WMP-24M and WMP-24M-PIS, are capable solutions for handling any ‘in-theatre’ procedure, where IT support applications are concerned – such as endoscopic and robotic surgery – to name just a few.
With anti-bacterial/wipe down aluminium enclosures, both solutions support an all-round IP65 (6 sides) ingress protection and provide two display outputs (Display Port and HDMI) with a PCIe (x16) expansion port to interface medical capture devices to enable all types of minimal evasive surgery. The internal power adapter design (WMP-24M-PIS) provides for ease of installation and space savings.
Typical features and standards incorporated within both medical Panel PCs include :-
- Anti-Bacterial (MRSA) housing to cope with disinfection chemicals
Medical cart computers need antimicrobial housings to battle surface contamination (MRSA) and IP65 rated sealed front bezels and ‘six sides’ (all round) IP65 protection with an i/o cover, making for ease of cleaning and disinfection.
