Description
The Nuvo-2610VTC series from Neousys Technology is a rugged Intel® Atom® based in-vehicle computer that incorporates 4 x M12 Gigabit PoE+ connectors and one front-accessible 2.5″ HDD tray, supporting up to 15mm high HDD/SSD devices . The PC has been designed to specifically meet multi-purpose applications such as in vehicle applications for on and off road and railway applications – from mobile gateways and data loggers to network video recorders (NVR).
Powered by Intel® Elkhart Lake Atom® x6425E quad-core CPU, the Nuvo-2610VTC series delivers up to 1.8x the CPU performance when compared with previous Atom generations deployed within the Nuvo-2510VTC.
To provide robust Ethernet connectivity, the Nuvo-2610VTC series offers 4 x Gigabit PoE+ ports via M12 x-coded connectors and 1 x USB 3.1 port with screw-lock mechanism.
In addition to the internal M.2 2280 SATA SSD for system storage, the Nuvo-2610VTC also has 1 x front-accessible 2.5″ HDD tray accommodating a 2.5″ SATA HDD/SSD of up to 15mm device height and 5TB capacity. For internal expansion, the PC provides 2 x mini-PCIe sockets for WiFi, GNSS and CAN modules – plus 1 x M.2 3042/3052 B Key socket for 4G/5G mobile broadband module.
To provide versatility for in-transportation deployment applications, the Nuvo-2610VTC series is available in three variants. In addition to the Nuvo-2610VTC, the Nuvo-2611VTC is equipped with an embedded SuperCAP UPS to protect against power interruption or voltage fluctuation that can be prevalent for in-vehicle applications – and can sustain the system for a controlled (non-corruption of data) shutdown when the power is cut-off.
The Nuvo-2612VTC has a Cassette module for an additional Gen3 x2 PCIe slot that can accommodate an AI accelerator module with a tailor-made thermal solution. With an AI accelerator on board, the PC becomes a fanless GPU computer for intelligent video analytics or a data logger with perception capability.
With key features of -40°C to +70°C fanless operational capabilities, wide-range DC input with ignition control and 4G LTE / 5G NR mobile broadband connectivity, the Nuvo-2610VTC series is an ideal rugged, multi-purpose, transportation computer for aftermarket on and off road in-vehicle applications. With ruggedised M12 PoE+ connectivity and built-in SuperCAP UPS, the Nuvo-2610VTC series can comfortably work within harsh environments where there is unreliable & variable power supply for applications such as trucks, cargo vehicles and rail rolling stock.
