The box module incorporates competent performance components regarding the CPU, memory, and I/O as would be expected to meet an application need – married to the required size touch panel TFT to facilitate the required HMI. The individual (separate) component combination of computing solution and touchscreen provides the user with a more flexible solution and the opportunity to keep cost of ownership to a minimum by upgrading or replacement of either the PC or TFT module instead of the entire panel PC as and when required. The modular design provides flexibilities around upgrade of solution and ease of maintenance, – making DFI’s KSM series the ideal solution for a variety of industrial applications.
