ASRock Industrial has recently unveiled their latest innovation, the 4X4 7040 Series. Powered by AMD Ryzen 7040U Series APUs (accelerated processing units), the new series of BOX PCs and SBCs (single board computers) offer impressive computing capability . With up to 8 x “Zen 4” cores and 16 x threads, they provide a significant boost in speed and performance.
One of the standout features of the 4X4 BOX 7040 Series, available in 4X4 BOX-7840U and 4X4 BOX-7640U models, is the introduction of the AMD Ryzen™ AI, which is the first AI engine created for an x86 platform. This AI engine, combined with support for dual-channel DDR5 5600MHz memory of up to 64GB, enables the Mini PC to deliver impressive AI capability and ensure extended runtime.
Despite its compact sizing ( 117.5 x 110 x 47.85 mm), the 4X4 BOX 7040 Series offers a wide range of connectivity options. The series supports 4K quad-display outputs, making it ideal for users who require multiple display support.
