It’s a DIN-rail box PC with a modular design that provides for additional functionality die to its ample abilities around provision of expansion ports for installation of AI accelerator cards, PoE add-on cards or HDD/SSD for storage needs. The DRPC-230 is compatible with IEI’s own accelerator cards (Mustang-V100-MX8, Mustang-V100-MX4) and PoE cards (GPOE-4P, GPOE-2P). Regarding PoE cards, the DRPC-230 can provide 60 Watts of internal power.
There’s also choice around system SKU for capability – which still allows the DPRC-230 to deliver competitive performance and stay on budget. Available formats come in the shape of the DRPC-230-ULT5-i5/S and DRPC-ULT5-5 (fitted with Intel’s i5-8365UE quad core processor) and the DRPC-230-ULT5-C/S (fitted with the Intel Celeron 4250U dual core processor)
The DRPC-230-ULT5 can operate in temperatures as high as +70°C operating temperature – and as low as -20°C – effortlessly delivering consistent processor performance just above its base frequency. With fanless operation, there’s no concern for fan noise (and consequently maintenance) making it a strong contender for any embedded system requirement for a multitude of applications.

XProtect® Essential+ is a full-featured version of Milestone’s market-leading video management software (VMS). It is reliable, customizable, scalable, user-friendly and can reduce the security risk of the system and protect it against internal and external security threats in the most optimal way. With support of up to eight cameras/devices, XProtect® Essential+ is the perfect match for small businesses who need basic video surveillance to protect employees and assets.
IEI strictly tests every product by internal and external validation to ensure quality. The DRPC-230-ULT5 is tested and ensured that it can endure up to 70°C operating temperature and still deliver constant performance with CPU running steadily above its base frequency. With fanless operation, customers no need to worry about fan noises and fan maintenance, making it an ideal embedded system for a variety of solutions.
