The Nuvo-2600 Series: A High-Performance Fanless Computer from Neousys Technology
Neousys Technology, a renowned & proven provider of rugged embedded computing systems, have recently launched their compact fanless computer, the Nuvo-2600 series.
The Nuvo-2600 series is powered by an Intel Elkhart Lake quad-core processor, providing up to 1.8x the CPU performance compared to its Apollo Lake predecessor. The device is the ideal embedded system to meet industrial applications within machine vision, autonomous warehousing operations – and logistics automation, to name but a few.
Rich I/O and Flexible Expansion
The Nuvo-2600 series comes with a variety of I/O connectivity featuring practical connector interfaces and flexible, functional expansion slots. The system has 4 x Gigabit PoE+ ports via RJ-45 connectors with screw-lock mechanisms to secure camera or Lidar connections. Additionally, the Nuvo 2600 features a front-accessible 2.5″ HDD tray that can accommodate a 7 to 15mm 2.5″ SSD/HDD of up to 5TB. It also has 2 x mini-PCIe expansion sockets for WiFi, CANbus, COM – or DIO.
Innovative Patented Cassette Modules
Within the Nuvo-2600 series, the Nuvo-2600E features a patented Cassette module that enables the installation of an add-on PCIe cards to facilitate features such as a GbE frame grabber or a EtherCAT motion control card. Alternatively, the Nuvo-2600J has a Neousys patented SuperCAP UPS module that features 2500 watt-second energy capacity to sustain operation during power outages until shutdown or provide a steady stream of electrical current to protect the system.
A Multi-Purpose Embedded Computing System
Enclosed in a ruggedised, compact enclosure, the Nuvo-2600 series features an Intel Atom x6000E quad-core processor – supporting wide temperature fanless operation, 4x PoE+ GbE ports – and flexibility around system expansion for mPCIe, PCIe or a SuperCAP UPS.
