Neousys, a leading provider of rugged industrial computing solutions, has unveiled the Nuvo-9200VTC, its latest offering in its rugged in-vehicle controller solutions, powered by Intel’s 13th/12th-Gen Core processors.

Leveraging Intel’s 7nm photolithography technology, the Nuvo-9200VTC delivers genuine computational performance with up to 24 cores and 32 threads, providing a significant boost to overall  processing power. The integration of DDR5 memory bandwidth and PCIe Gen4 NVMe high-speed disk read/write further enhances system performance, resulting in an impressive overall improvement of up to 1.8 times compared to previous 10th or 11th-Gen platforms.

The Nuvo-9200VTC offers a comprehensive range of peripherals, connections and expansion options. Equipped with 2.5Gb and 1Gb Ethernet ports, as well as four or eight 802.3at PoE+ ports capable of delivering 25W of power to connected devices such as IP cameras, this in-vehicle computer ensures robust connectivity.

The system features rugged x-coded M12 connectors and screw-lock mechanisms on various i/o, including Ethernet, USB 3.2 Gen1, and USB 3.2 Gen2, guaranteeing secure connections even in environments where shock and vibration are present.  Additional expansion via the Nuvo-9200VTC is available via 2 x M.2 and 3 x mini-PCIe sockets, which can be used to enable the integration of wireless modules for 5G/4G, WiFi, GPS and CAN communication.

The Nuvo-9200VTC is E-Mark certified, ensuring compliance with automotive standards. It also features a patented Cassette module with an additional PCIe slot, providing the for the adding of expansion cards to meet exacting application requirements. The system is also equipped with 2 x  hot-swappable SATA HDD trays, an isolated CAN bus for in-vehicle communication, isolated DIO for sensor/actuator control and a wide-range 8V to 48V DC input with ignition power control.
