Neousys Technology Launches POC-400 Series – the latest evolution in their range of ultra-compact  fanless embedded computing solutiuons…..

Neousys Technology have recently launched their new ultra-compact fanless embedded computer – the POC-400 series. With its versatile mixture of I/O, flexible MezIO expansion capability – and on-board Intel Elkhart Lake Atom x6425E processor, this embedded computing solution is designed to cater for users needing space-conscious computing solutions  – but without the compromising of performance and scalability.

The POC-400 series is powered by Intel’s latest 10nm Elkhart Lake Atom x6425E processor, offering 1.8x the CPU performance and 2x the GPU performance of its previous Atom generation. The devices ultra-compact dimensions measure just 56 mm (W) x 108 mm (D) x 153 mm (H), making it the ideal choice for applications requiring install within confined spaces whilst still providing essential computing power.

The POC-400 series packs a powerful punch with its Intel Elkhart Lake Atom x6425E processor. Its CPU and GPU performance make it a suitable choice for a range of industrial applications – from smart factories to industrial automation systems.

Versatility for on-board I/O

The POC-400 series comes with a host of front-accessible i/o making it an ideal choice for a variety of applications.

With its DIN rail mounting design, the 3 x 2.5GBASE-T Ethernet ports with IEEE 802.3 PoE+ capability offer higher data bandwidth for devices such as NBASE-T cameras and are backward-compatible with 1000/100/10 Mbps Ethernet. Other features include 2 x 4K Display Ports, 2 x  USB3.1 Gen1, 2 x USB 2.0 – and COM ports for general industrial applications.

Flexible expansion capabilities

One of the most impressive features of the Neousys POC-400 series is its flexible expansion capability via Neousys’ proprietary MezIO interface. Users can expand to provide functionality such as isolated DIO, RS-232/ 422/ 485, USB 3.1 Gen1, ignition control, storage and 4G/ 5G. Additionally, the POC-400 comes with an internal M.2 E key socket to facilitate Google TPU or an Intel Movidius VPU module to transform it into a lightweight AI edge inference platform.

Harsh Environment Working

Operational within a diverse temperature range of -25°C to 70°C – and with a wide-ranging DC input from 8V to 35V, the POC-400 series is one of the most powerful and eligible ultra-compact computing solutions that can be deployed in a variety of industrial applications for harsh environment use.
