Windows Embedded and Windows IoT
As an official Microsoft Embedded Windows Partner we have been implementing Operating Systems on embedded hardware for our customers for over 30 years. From the early RTOS days of OS-9 on the Motorola Processor range through Windows NT embedded, XP, 7, 8 and Windows 10 Embedded. We offer standard configurations where we provide a ready to run O/S environments for embedded versions of Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 IoT. Customers can also decide upon the level of customisation they want where all their user accounts, software and application configurations are all fully pre-installed (including Windows Updates). BVM image services are fully supported, inclusive of maintenance services whenever required for your products lifetime.
What is Windows IoT?
Windows 10 IoT is a member of the Windows 10 family that brings enterprise-class power, security and manageability to the Internet of Things. It leverages Windows’ embedded experience, ecosystem and cloud connectivity, allowing organizations to create their Internet of Things with secure devices that can be quickly provisioned, easily managed, and seamlessly connected to an overall cloud strategy.
How to get started
The Windows 10 IoT platform has two editions, each is optimized for specific scenarios. They both share the security, manageability and cloud connectivity you expect from Windows. Building a device is as easy as building an app.
Windows IoT CoreA fully optimised version of Windows that enables building smaller footprint, connected devices that still deliver the same security and management capabilities customers expect from Windows. |
Windows IoT EnterpriseA Full version of Windows 10 with advanced lockdown capabilities powering a range of industry devices across retail, manufacturing, health, government or any other industries. |
