Neousys, has introduced the NRU-52S+ series, a robust and versatile edge AI computer designed to deliver high-end performance for AI-based video analytics applications. Built with NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX or Xavier NX SOM, the NRU-52S+ offers powerful video decoding capabilities, real-time inference and features four PoE++ ports for robust and secure connectivity.

Powered by the efficient NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX platform, the NRU-52S+ combines an 8-core ARM Cortex-A78AE CPU and NVIDIA Ampere GPU, boasting 1024 CUDA cores, 32 Tensor cores, and 2 NVDLA deep learning accelerators. This robust configuration enables the NRU-52S+ to deliver a staggering 100 TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second) of inference performance, making the choice for AI-based video analytics applications.

Its power-efficient design allows for the decoding of up to 18 streams of 1080p video at 30 FPS while consuming just 25W of power. This feature makes the NRU-52S+ particularly suitable for power-constrained environments, such as robotic systems, vehicles or rail rolling stock. The fanless design and internal thermal management design ensure reliable operation in wide temperature ranges, making it perfect for Edge computing deployment in roadside, wayside, construction, agriculture or dusty factory settings.

The NRU-52S+ sets itself apart with its four IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ ports, each capable of delivering up to 90W of power to IP cameras or PTZ speed dome cameras. This robust power provide supports advanced functionality regarding detection, tracking and recognition for AI based applications applications. The system also offers flexible expansion options and inclusive of 2 x  mPCIe sockets to support NVMe storage, WiFi, GNSS or V2X modules – and an M.2 B key slot designed for 4G LTE or 5G NR modules with dedicated passive thermal design. With a total of five antenna holes, the NRU-52S+ provides enhanced connectivity for mobile broadband applications. Additionally, the PC features hardware-configurable RS232/RS422/RS485 interfaces, a GPS PPS input and isolated DI and DO channels for seamless communication with external devices.

With its integration of PoE++ connectivity, exceptional inference performance – and a comprehensive suite of NVIDIA AI JetPack toolkits, the NRU-52S+ unlocks new possibilities for real-time video analytics in variety of domains, including autonomous machines, security alerts, law enforcement and V2X applications. The PC’s fanless operation in temperatures ranging from -25°C to 70°C, wide-range DC input, ignition control, and 4G/5G connectivity make it suitable for both indoor and harsh edge deployments.
