Neousys Unveils Nuvo-9100VTC: The Next-Generation Rugged In-Vehicle Computer with Enhanced Performance and Connectivity

Neousys, a leading provider of rugged computing solutions, has introduced the Nuvo-9100VTC, the latest addition to its line-up of robust in-vehicle controllers. Powered by Intel’s 13th/12th-Gen Core processors, this leading edge in-vehicle computer delivers exceptional performance and provides a wide range of connectivity options.

With Intel’s 7nm photolithography technology, the Nuvo-9100VTC leverages the power of the latest Core desktop processors, offering up to 24 cores and 32 threads – and, therefore, a significant boost in computational performance to provides users with an exceptional computing experience. The integration of DDR5 memory bandwidth throughput and SSD (M.2) NVMe storage facilitation based on PCIe Gen4 x 4 to complete high-speed  read/write cycles further enhances system performance.

The Nuvo-9100VTC offers enhanced flexibilities with its support for a variety of peripherals and connections. It features 2.5Gb and 1Gb Ethernet ports, along with four or eight 802.3at PoE+ ports capable of delivering 25W of power to connected devices – such as IP cameras. The PC system is equipped with x-coded M12 connectors and screw-lock mechanisms on the computer i/o including Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.2 Gen1, and USB 3.2 Gen2 to ensure reliable connectivity even in shock and vibration-prone environments.

Recognising the importance of wireless connectivity in modern in-vehicle applications, the Nuvo-9100VTC supports simultaneous utilisation of 2 x M.2 and 3 x mini-PCIe sockets, enabling the integration of wireless modules for 5G/4G, WiFi, GPS and CANbus communication.

Additionally, the Nuvo-9100VTC includes an isolated CAN bus for in-vehicle communication and isolated DIO for sensor/actuator control. Its wide-range 8V to 48V DC power input, coupled with ignition power control, ensures stable operation across a variety of power supply scenarios. Additionally, the system is E-Mark certified, to guarantee compliance with automotive standards for in-vehicle installations.
