The NRU-51V+ serves as a powerful sensor hub or perception unit for various applications, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), teleoperation, autonomous mobile robots and autonomous vehicles.
The NRU-51V+ harnesses the capabilities of GMSL2 automotive cameras, enabling enhanced vision functionality. With features such as IP67 waterproofing, high dynamic range (120dB HDR), auto white balance (AWB) and LED flicker mitigation (LFM), the NRU-51V+ captures high-quality images with minimal latency in diverse lighting conditions – from bright daylight to dark nights.
Additionally, its unique synchronisation mechanism allows for simultaneous image acquisition from four GMSL2 cameras, ensuring precise alignment and co-ordination. The system can also synchronise image data with LIDAR or other camera systems using GPS PPS signals.
Powered by the highly efficient NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX or Xavier NX SOM, the NRU-51V+ delivers exceptional inference performance with its 25W power consumption. Users can leverage the system’s 100 TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second) for real-time object detection or ROI (Region of Interest) detection.
The built-in 10GBASE-T Ethernet enables seamless transfer of raw camera images to a GPU server for perception processing, whilst the hardware for H.264/265 video codec enables real-time encoding and transmission of video streams from the GMSL2 cameras. This functionality proves invaluable in tele-operation applications, where live video feeds can be transmitted to remote drivers with minimal latency via 5G telecommunication networks.
