With ruggedised designs to minimise downtime and maintenance, Winmate’s in-vehicle computing solutions support both Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems to facilitate ease of deployment.

The newly launched Winmate all-in-one vehicle computers series additionally brings cost efficiencies by removing the need for a vehicle dock station and providing integrated I/O and expansion ports in one inclusive design.

Harsh Environment ready – with ultra-rugged designs…….

Winmate’s vehicle mount computers are ably protected against dust-and-water ingress, providing IP65 rated sealing – and optional splash-proof and lockable connectors. They also provide IK07-rated impact resistance, having passed MIL-STD 810H shock and vibration testing – and are operable in extreme temperatures.

To further support operation in sub-zero temperature conditions, optional features such as heaters, temperature sensors and TFT screen optical bonding are also available. Screen readability is supported with up to 1000 nits of panel brightness, ensuring devices can easily be viewed & interpreted both indoors and outdoors. An optional 400mAh UPS battery can be provided for 20 minutes of backup on the FM-V series in the 10.4” and 12.1” screen sized models.

Integrated communication functionality in an inclusive, all-in-one design……

The newly launched in-vehicle computing solutions facilitate cost efficiencies by eliminating the need for a vehicle dock station and also providing a wide voltage range power DC power input, ignition control, VESA mounting and integrated I/O ports. USB, ethernet and serial ports are provided by default – whilst optional the DI/DO and CANBus ports can also be provided.

There’s also integrated Bluetooth that instantly pairs the vehicle mount computer with the cordless barcode scanner for fast data collection. And with WLAN and WWAN, in conjunction with the standard internal or optional external antennas, transfer of data to an external receiving source can easily be executed.

Enabling applications in cold storage warehousing & materials handling vehicles……

Winmates all-in-one vehicle mount computers are designed to be integrated within the majority of cold storage warehousing & general materials handling vehicles (forklift trucks, pallet stackers…etc) with minimal effort.

They feature a set of programmable keys and glove-friendly touch-input screens to enable the most challenging of ‘on-the-go’ factory & warehousing operations. With extensive wireless connectivity, Winmates mobile devices keep vehicle operators connected even in the most remote of locations — and can be deployed for a variety of far-ranging industries – such as agricultural operations, warehousing & distribution centres, railway yards, airports and sea ports.
