Industrial Motherboards with 13th Gen Raptor Lake Intel Core Processors
ASRock Industrial are excited to announce a new range of industrial motherboards featuring 13th Gen Intel Core Processors (Raptor Lake-S) with up to 24 cores and 32 threads. The range of motherboards support Intel’s W680, Q670 and H610 chipsets and are the first ASRock Industrial boards to feature DDR5 memory. The motherboards feature a rich abundance of I/O and expansion options, including PCIe Gen 5 slots, quad display support at 4K@60Hz, USB 3.2 Gen2x2 (20 Gbit/s), triple Intel 2.5 G LANs, multi-M.2 Key M, ECC memory and TPM 2.0.
The new 12th and 13th Gen motherboard series comes in a variety of form factors, including Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, and ATX, making them suitable for a variety of Edge AIoT applications such as factory automation, kiosks, digital signage, smart cities and medical technology.
13th Gen Intel Motherboards with Upgraded Performance
The new 13th Gen Intel motherboards offer improved performance and flexibility for compute-intensive edge applications, featuring 13th Gen Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3 processors (Raptor Lake-S) with hybrid architecture and up to 24 cores and 32 threads for enhanced performance.
Compared to 12th Gen Intel Core processors, the new 13th Gen motherboard series provide up to 1.04x/1.34x/1.25x increase in single-thread/multi-thread/CPU image classification inference performance. They also support faster DDR5-5600 memory modules and PCIe 5.0 where additional expansion is required. They also come with Intel UHD Graphics driven by Xe architecture for engaging video and digital signage experiences.
Through a BIOS update, existing 12th Gen motherboards can also be upgraded to support the 13th Gen Intel CPUs. This includes the IMB-X1712 and IMB-1712 ATX motherboards and the IMB-X1314 and IMB-1314 Micro-ATX boards.
The Mini-ITX form factor options include the IMB-X1231, IMB-1231, and IMB-1230 with high-rise I/O and the IMB-X1233-WV, IMB-1233-WV, IMB-1232-WV with thin (low level) I/O, all designed with W680/ Q670/ H610 chipsets.
13th Gen Motherboards with DDR5 and PCIe Gen 5
The IMB-1714, IMB-X1714 and IMB-1713 are the first DDR5 ATX motherboards with support for PCIe 5.0 from ASRock Industrial. The IMB-1714 and IMB-X1714, with respective Q670/W680 chipsets, have four 288-pin DIMM DDR5 4400 MHz slots capable of holding up to 128GB capacity RAM with ECC/non-ECC support (IMB-X1714). They offer a comprehensive array of I/O and expansion slots including one PCIe x16 (Gen5), one PCIe x8 (Gen5), two PCIe x4 (Gen4), three PCIe x1 (Gen3), one USB 3.2 Gen2x2 (Type C), five USB 3.2 Gen2 and four USB 2.0.
The IMB-1714 and IMB-X1714 also have series of one M.2 Key B, one M.2 Key E, two M.2 Key M, six COM and eight SATA3 for storage upgrades. They also provide triple display support with one HDMI 2.0b, one DP1.4a, one VGA and three Intel 2.5G LAN (one with vPro and one with PoE support).
The IMB-1713, with a H610 chipset, is a more budget-friendly option with two 288-pin DIMM DDR5 5600MHz slots, providing up to 64GB of RAM capacity. It has one PCIe x16 (Gen5), one PCIe x4 (Gen3), one PCIe x1 (Gen3), and four PCI, two USB 3.2 Gen2, two USB 3.2 Gen1, and five USB 2.0. It also supports one M.2 Key M, six COM, four SATA3, triple displays, one 1G LAN, and one 2.5G LAN with PoE function.
